NEW DEVELOPMENTS CONFIRMED

Sunborn has signed a new 30-year lease agreement with Royal Docks Management Authority and Greater London Authority, for the continued operation of a yacht hotel at Royal Victoria Dock.

The new lease is a key stage in the new Sunborn London development and now completed Sunborn expects to finalise a shipbuilding agreement with the Freire Shipyard, in Vigo Spain, a prestigious shipyard with a long track record building super yachts and high-quality vessels.

The new floating hotel will be the first of the Sunborn Evolution series, a newly build 134m yacht hotel with 225 hotel rooms and suites, as well as a 200-seat restaurant, conference rooms, bars and event venues. Designed for maximum energy efficiency the new hotel will feature extensive new green technology and source 100% of its power from renewable energy.

Sunborn has several other active hotels developments in both North America and Europe, at early or more advanced stages of planning approval. At Muelle de las Delicias in Sevilla, Spain Sunborn has a secured a highly-prized waterfront location and having successfully completed the planning application and publication phase, we expect to finalise the public information and other formalities, leading to planning consent and a 30-year license.
